The Smartwool Men's Classic Thermal Merino Base Layer Crew is knit in Vietnam from 100% Merino wool. A slim fit follows the body's contours, and flatlock seam construction with offset shoulder and side seams that wrap to the front helps minimize chafing under a pack or shell. This one comes in a solid black body with a rust-and-black checkerboard knit on the sleeves; Smartwool's own site didn't turn up a name for this exact colorway. This one is a brand sample: never sold at retail, never worn, original tags still attached.
