How It Works
Buying List
Start by reviewing our Buying Lists. We buy a lot of things, but we don’t buy everything. All items are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and offers are always based upon our current inventory needs. List changes daily.
Evaluation
Bring your gear to FERAL. We’ll evaluate your items. If they meet our criteria, we’ll determine what we’ll sell each item for. Remember to bring your state-issued ID.
- In Denver, we buy used gear seven days a week until 7pm. Customers not checked in prior to 7pm will receive a quote the following day.
- In Grand Rapids, we buy used gear Monday-Friday during business hours. We are not able to offer quotes on weekends in Grand Rapids at this time.

Once we've inspected your items, we’ll make you an offer. See payment options below. Your can mix and match any of these options as needed.
Payment Options
Cash
Who doesn't love cold, hard cash? You can take 40% of our selling price as cash or Venmo.
Gift Card
Want a bonus? You get 60% of the selling price if you put the value on a gift card.
Donate
That's pretty rad. You can donate all or a portion of the cash value to a local non-profit.

What things do you buy?
We buy used outdoor gear as well as men's, women's and kid's outdoor clothing. However, we're not always buying everything all the time. Our list changes daily based on current inventory needs. We also have some brand and category restrictions.

What condition do my items need to be in?
All items must be clean and in excellent condition. No stains or discolorations, no odors, no dirt or hair. There should be no physical damage, delamination, or waterproofing degradation, and all zippers must be functional.
Can you give me an estimate over the phone?
We are unable to offer estimates over the phone. Each item must be inspected on site before an offer can be made.
Can I mail my items to you?
We're currently only buying used gear at our Denver, CO and Grand Rapids, MI shops.
- In Denver, we buy gear seven days a week during business hours.
- In Grand Rapids, we buy gear Monday-Friday during business hours. We are not able to offer quotes on weekends in Grand Rapids at this time. We will get there, bear with us!
Anything else I need to bring to sell used gear?
Yes! We require a state-issued ID every time you sell at FERAL. No print outs. No exceptions.
Can I sell as a brand or rep?
