On Thursday, Feb 6th at 7 pm we will be hosting a special event with Everest Guide and Himali Co-founder, Tendi Sherpa. Learn how he became a mountaineering guide and hear some of his stories from along the way.

Being born and raised in the mountains of Nepal, Tendi Sherpa has a lifetime of mountaineering experience. He is one of few Nepalis to accomplish an IFMGA/UIAGM Mountain Guide Diploma and also participated in Longline helicopter Rescue training in Switzerland. As a guide, he has led 10 successful expeditions to the Everest Summit and has also participated in many successful mountaineering training, rescues, and volunteering opportunities.
Himali was founded in 2014 by Dave Schaeffer and legendary 12-time Everest summiteer and IFMGA climbing guide, Tendi Sherpa. As mountaineers, they understand the trust that climbers place in their gear. By utilizing high-end textiles, coupled with performance based design, they have developed an array of apparel made to stand up to the highest and harshest conditions on Planet Earth.
